Hello all...Wow..one word to describe the week I have spent in Fulda, Germany. A gorgeous city located in the heart of the country of Germany. The city itself was founded in 744. I have laid my head down at night at the Hotel Esperanto, attended a church service at the Fulda Cathedral, attended receptions at the Fulda Castle and Hotel Maritim-Orangerie, eaten wonderful food and sampled German wine in the courtyard of the Vonda Museum, along with attending a memorable dinner and musical experience at the Old University. . .Fulda is a Baroque city with so much to see. .much if it is within walking distance from the city's main area. If you are flying it is located approximately 1 hour from Frankfurt. Even though my have sees is fairly long the city guidebook lists many more..such as the Frauenberg Monastery, Schloss Fasanerie, and the Dahlia Garden...I will without question be returning with my husband in tow..would love to see you in Fulda...die Barockstadt.
